Professor Audley Genus is Professor of Innovation and Technology Management at the Small Business Research Centre at Kingston Business School and Chair of the Special Interest Group for social and sustainable entrepreneurship at the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. His research concerns the role of diverse stakeholders in shaping innovation in the renewable energy sector, the contribution of institutional innovation to transformation of the energy field and responsible innovation. He leads funded projects on Knowledge Exchange for Entrepreneurship in Permaculture (ESRC/ISBE) and Institutional Entrepreneurship in Community Renewable Energy in England (YTL Corporation), and was PI for Newcastle Low Carbon Neighbourhoods (RCUK/Wellcome Trust). He has written or edited four books to date, the latest of which is Sustainable Consumption: Design, Innovation and Practice, published in 2016 by Springer. He has supervised five doctoral students to completion. Prof. Genus gave evidence to the joint UK Parliamentary Joint Committee on the Deregulation (2014) and was a Member of Swedish Research Council evaluation panel on sustainable and efficient resource use in 2013 and 2014. He will lead WP6 on Policy Integration.
