Eva Heiskanen is a professor in Sustainable Consumption at the Consumer Society Research Centre. She has worked on energy and environmental issues in consumer and organization studies since 1991. She has served as WP leader in earlier FP projects, and coordinated the FP7 project CHANGING BEHAVIOUR dealing with the successfulness of energy saving programmes and projects. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles on sustainable consumption, social science energy research, user involvement in innovation, and the societal conditions for sustainability innovation. Currently, she is leading sub-projects in two major national projects related to sustainable energy transitions and the role of users, local experimentation and the development of competencies in the energy transition.
