Advancing Energy Policy, a new book

Audley Shape E

Audley Genus, of Kingston University, attended the launch of a book edited by members of the Shape Energy Horizon 2020-funded platform for inter-disciplinary research on energy. The event took place at University of Cambridge and chapter contributors were invited to give a talk about their contribution to the book and take part in a discussion of the book’s themes and possible impact.

The book is called Advancing Energy Policy and is edited by Chris Foulds and Rosie Robison. Since publication in August, there have been over 13,000 downloads of chapters from the book.

The picture below shows Audley giving a talk on the chapter he and co-authors (Frances Fahy, Gary Goggins, Senja Laakso and Marfuga Iskandarova) wrote. The chapter focuses on what may be learned from the ENERGISE project for advancing social science and humanities energy research and policies relating to sustainable consumption in the energy field.
