ENERGISE is delighted to participate in the EU Sustainable Energy Week from the 5th to the 7th of June in Brussels.
ENERGISE researchers Frances Fahy and Gary Goggins attended the recent AAG in New Orleans, 10-14 April 2018, and organised three successful sessions: ‘Dwelling on Energy: Exploring social and cultural influences on domestic energy use in international contexts’.
There was an ENERGISE poster presentation at the Ryan Institute Research Day, NUI Galway, Feb 23rd 2018. Over 100 delegates were present at the event.
On August 30th, Dr Frances Fahy presented on the ENERGISE project the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2017. The chair’s theme for the 2017 Annual Conference was “Decolonising geographical knowledges: opening geography out to the world.”
Teams of ENERGISE researchers will host two sessions at the Sustainable Consumption Research and Action Initiative's conference in June 2018 in Copenhagen. The overarching theme of the conference is " Sustainable Consumption: Fostering Good Practices and Confronting the Challenges of the 21st Century".
Dr Frances Fahy and Dr Gary Goggins of NUI Galway will host three ENERGISE related sessions at the Association of American Geographers 2018 conference in New Orleans.
Dr. Judith Igelsböck and Laura Zölzer, both working at the MCTS Post/Doc Lab Engineering Responsibly of the Technical University Munich, gathered an international group of social scientists, design researchers and a professor of digital media and performing arts in Munich for two-days to explore intervention as a mode of research. Entitled Prototyping Intervention!
The ENERGISE consortium together with the members of the Expert Panel plan and pre-test the Living Labs methodology for three days.
The Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption (GRF) and SCORAI Europe will hosted the third International Conference on Sustainable Lifestyles, Livelihoods and the Circular Economy in Brighton, UK between 27-29 June, 2017. Many of the ENERGISE team members will be presenting and participating in this prestigious event.
